Information and tips about the Calendars

Here at Pixum you will find photo calendars for everybody. Most of our calendars can be personalised with the calendar editor. You can choose how many images you want per month, in what style you want the dates and if you want to use backgrounds.

How to create my calendar?

 

• Each photo calendar consist of 12 pages + cover.
• In our online shop you can choose the starting month of your choice.
• The month you are currently working on is enlarged as a preview.
• With the Designer Calendar the first image will be used for the starting month, the next 11 images for the months to follow and the 13th (last) image is used for the cover.
• The Photo Year Calendar consists of only one page.

 

Here's how to create a personalised calendar:

 

1. Select your calendar. After clicking on the orange button to create your calendar you are asked if you wish to login. Please note that you need to be logged in to be able to save your calendar for later use.
2. Choose the starting month
3. Select the design of your layout. Do so under the tab "Designs".
   • Here you can select the arrangement of photos per page as well as the design of the calendar dates.
   • Simply drag the desired design to the preview page.
   • You would like to use the chosen design for all months? Then just click on the button "Use template for all pages".
4. Select pictures for each month
   • You can select images from your inbox or, if you are logged in (!) from your albums. You can login in the upper right corner of the Pixum page.
   • Drag the chosen images to the calendar pages.
   • If you would like to upload a new photo, simply click on the button "upload" in the preview calendar page.
5. Choose a background, if desired. You can do this uner the tab "Backgr".
6. Once you have finished your calendar, just click on "Order now“.

 

Please note:

• You can save your calendar at any time during the creation, but only if you are logged in!
• Once you have placed the calendar in the shopping basket but feel the need to edit or copy the calendar, you can do so by clicking on the product line with details and using the buttons "edit" and/or "copy".

 

Photo calendar - which resolution should my photos have?

After selecting a photo you will see a smiley in the shop, showing you if the resolution of your photo is good enough. Next to the product preview you will see a green smiley for excellent quality, an orange smiley for sufficient quality and a red smiley for insufficient quality. To recieve a calendar in good quality you should not use any images with the red smiley. Please select a different image or choose a different calendar layout with smaller images.

Please pay careful attention to the quality smiley when you are zooming your photos in the calendar editor.

 

Which calendar formats does Pixum offer?

 

 

Overview of all Pixum Calendars

 

Wall Calendars

• Wall Calendar: available in A4 or A3 (Poster Calendar), with spiral binding to hang it on the wall
• Kitchen Calendar: the small calendar in portrait format - your image on top, the dates below with room for appointments and birthdays
• Wall year planner: landscape calendar. Format: closed: A4; opened A3 (2 pages of each A4 in landscape format, with a spiral binding).

Dekstop Calendars

• Designer Calendar: classy calendar with a fixed design - one image per month and dates on a black background in a beautiful metal case (approx. size of a CD).
• Deluxe desk Calendar: Landscape format calender (29,7cm x 10cm) 1 month per side. This is a standing calender.
• Desktop Calendar: Landscape format calendar. Spiral binding (opened: 29,7cm x 20cm; closed: 29,7cm x 10cm). 1 month per 2 sides. This is a calender to ly down on your desk and ideal as a desk agenda.

Year Calendars

• Photo Year calender: The entire year in 1 overview. Direct overview of the full year on a handy photo format (10x15cm) up to approx. A4 to hang on the wall. Available in formats 10cm, 13cm and 20cm.

Do-it-yourself Calendar

• Do you like glue? Than this is the calender for you. We deliver an „empty“ calender on black pages with just the dates, and opportunity to write down the daily issues. You then can get started with your own photos or other materials to pimp up your personal calender. Photos you can order on the side. We recommend the 13cm format.
